Alignment was exhibited in The Presence of Absence at Hair Pin Loft Gallery, Chicago, 2013, curated by Dave Tolchinsky and Debra Tolchinsky. This group show foregrounded visual and aural work that grapples with that which should be there but isn't and that which shouldn't be there but is still felt, seen or heard. We were interested in work that explores these questions from both formalistic and conceptual perspectives. Featured Artists: Melika Bass, Inigo Manglano-Ovalle, Christopher Baker, Paola Cabal, and Katarina Weslien.
